CANTON -- Traditional Arts in Upstate New York recently received $1,000 from Pepsi-Cola Ogdensburg Bottlers, Inc. in support of the new demonstration kitchen at their downtown center.
"We are so grateful for the enthusiasm and support from the community for the upcoming programs in the kitchen," says Camilla Ammirati, TAUNY's director of research and programs.
The kitchen at TAUNY hosts workshops and demonstrations featuring North Country food traditions, a series of cooking classes for kid, and meals featuring regional specialties. An evening of food-themed music by special guest artists is being planned for the fall.
