POTSDAM -- Andrew Norrell of Heartbeat Illustrations has moved his tattoo studio to 4 Main St.
Norrell says he started learning the tattoo trade in 2010 and his skill has grown with experience.
“Since then my work has grown to a quality I can be proud of and am able to offer my services publicly,” he said.
The 2009 Potsdam High School graduate said he will have gallery space available for local artists, and he will soon be offering open studio nights for local artists to collaborate, learn, critique, and share.
“The two main services I offer are portrait Illustration and tattooing. I enjoy taking the time to bring out expressions in peoples faces when I draw,” he said.
Tattooing is done in a clean room that can be viewed from the gallery.
The Heartbeat Illustrations studio is open from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
