POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam continues its search for a new college president with a visit from Dr. Michael R. Laliberte of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee to campus Monday and Tuesday.

Laliberte, the last of five candidates visiting as part of the selection, is vice chancellor for student affairs at UW-M.

Two public forums with Laliberte are set for Monday, March 3, from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m. in Dunn Theater and from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 4 in the dining room on the eighth floor of Raymond Hall.

Following the forums, the campus community is invited to provide feedback about the candidate through an online survey, at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PotsdamMichaelLaliberte.

Laliberte has served as the vice president for student affairs at Boise State University, and as the associate vice chancellor for student affairs at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where he also has been associate dean of students and director of student judicial affairs. Before that, he was assistant dean of students and director of judicial affairs at Springfield College, and coordinator of residence life at the Pennsylvania State University.

Laliberte earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Rhode Island, his master's degree from Northeastern University and a doctorate in education from Johnson & Wales University.
