CANTON -- Affordable Colleges Online has chosen SUNY Canton's bachelor's degrees in criminal justice law enforcement leadership and legal studies as two of the most economical online programs of their kind in the nation, SUNY Canton said.

The 2015 list ranked both programs at 36 in the country on a list of 38. In addition to affordability, degrees were rated on quality, graduate job placement, flexibility and low student-to-faculty ratio.

"These programs provide students an excellent educational experience at an affordable price, coupled with an invaluable opportunity to balance work, family commitments and education."

The criminal justice: law enforcement leadership prepares students for supervisory positions in law enforcement agencies. It allows qualified students to finish their studies at a certified law enforcement academy.

The legal studies program is a four-year undergraduate program. It prepares students for careers as paralegals, legal assistants, occupational health and safety specialists, and contract administrators. It can served as a pre-law program for students looking to enter law school.
