HEUVELTON – North Country convenience store chain Stewart’s Shops hosts a grand re-opening celebration of their store in Heuvelton on Saturday.
The store, at 88 State St., features a walk-in “beer cave,” seating, and pizza pies and slices.
Stewart’s announced last May that they had purchased the Sugarcreek store on State Street and would rebrand it.
To commemorate the opening, Stewart’s will donate $500 to the Heuvelton Volunteer Fire Department and $500 to the Heuvelton Free Library. Checks will be presented at noon.
There will be sales and specials all day, including 5¢ off per gallon on all grades of gasoline, including kerosene; get a free Lotto ticket with each ticket purchased; 99¢ specials on all sizes of hot coffee, single scoop cones, deli dogs, Stewart’s 16 oz. and 20 oz. drinks, and on Stewart’s 20 oz. soda (plus deposit).
The event also features $1 off on gallons or two half gallons of milk, and whole subs for $4.
Customers can enter to win a $50 My Money Card.
