POTSDAM — The Potsdam Holiday Fund received a $1,100 donation from Stewart’s Shops through the company’s Holiday Match Program, which benefits children’s organizations directly within the communities where Stewart’s Shops are located.
All of the funds collected from Stewart’s customers, as well as the amount Stewart’s matches, stays in the communities that contributed to the program.
Alex Hostetter, manager of Stewart’s Shop in Potsdam, presented the check to Potsdam Holiday Fund President Pam Yurgartis.
In December 2018, the Potsdam Holiday Fund provided warm winter clothing, food and gifts for 307 families, including 537 children and 155 senior citizens living in Potsdam and the surrounding communities of Hopkinton, Nicholville, Brasher Falls, Chase Mills, Fort Jackson, West Stockholm and Winthrop.
