POTSDAM – State Hearing and Audiology, P.C., recently opened in the Snell Office Complex on Outer Market Street at 6604 NYS Hwy. 56.

Owner Jon Suarez, MS, F/AAA, is a state licensed audiologist and hearing aid dispenser. He has experience administering hearing tests and fitting hearing aids since 1993.

State Hearing offers a “no-risk trial period” before payment is required. The office represents most hearing aid manufacturers.

State Hearing is a participating provider with the Empire Plan, and is one of only two businesses qualified by Empire to fit hearing aids in St. Lawrence and Franklin counties. Empire members include employees and retirees of NYSCOPBA, DOT, SUNY, CSEA, PEF, state troopers, Sunmount and others. Some state employees are eligible to receive hearing aids with no money out of pocket, Suarez says.

“If I can’t fit you with hearing aids that enhance your lifestyle and fit your budget, I don’t deserve to keep any of your money,” said Suarez, who is a two-time graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh and a U.S. Army veteran.

The office phone number is 315-508-4327.
