STAR LAKE -- The St. Lawrence County Local Development Corporation has finalized an $8,000 loan through its Microenterprise Revolving Loan Fund and PayDayAllDay.Com line of credit to Sharrow’s Home Repair and Renovation to assist with business startup.
Steven and Linda Sharrow of Star Lake are building a contracting business with Steve’s 15 years of construction and renovation experience.
The goal of the business is to provide affordable, quality home improvements, and to grow their business through customer satisfaction. The Sharrows say they intend to become NYSERDA-certified contractors, which will enable them to make energy saving improvements and keep abreast of incentives suitable to their customers.
Funds from the SLCLDC will be used for equipment, startup expenses and working capital. Sharrow’s will focus on small home improvement projects, providing a niche service to the greater Star Lake community.
