St. Lawrence County job growth in non-farm sectors was flat last month compared to the same November last year, according to the state Department of Labor.
That’s behind the state’s statistics, where 6,000 jobs were gained over that time, a 1.6 percent increase, DOL said.
St. Lawrence County stayed flat at 39,800 non-farm jobs in November 2017 and 2018.
To the east in Franklin County, also stayed flat at 19,200 jobs, DOL said.
To the west in Jefferson County, non-farm jobs declined by 100 drops with 42,500 people working in those positions last month and 42,400 the same month last year, according to DOL.
