CANTON -- St. Lawrence County lost 100 non-farm jobs in October compared to the same time last year, according to the Department of Labor.
According to the latest report St. Lawrence County had 39,300 non-farm jobs, about 100 fewer than October of last year.
Statewide the number of non-farm jobs rose from 9.5 to 9.6 million.
In Jefferson County non-farm jobs rose by about 400 from 42,800 to 43,200.
In Franklin County non-farm jobs rose by about 200 from 19,000 to 19,200.
