Gas prices throughout St. Lawrence County continue to climb well above the national average price of $3.72 per gallon, according to Gasbuddy.com.

The website lists user submitted prices to identify gas prices across the nation.

According to the website:

• Ogdensburg prices ranged from $4.03 per gallon at Nice N 'Easy stores, to $4.07 at Main Street Mobil.

• Potsdam prices were as low as $3.99 per gallon at Maple Street Wilson Farms and as high as $4.09 at Market Street Wilson Farms.

• Canton prices ranged from a low of $4.01 per gallon at Main Street Nice N' Easy, to a high of $4.03 at Main Street Mobil.

• Massena prices were listed as $4.03 per gallon at Stewart's Shop on Route 37.

• Gouverneur prices ranged from $4.05 cents per gallon at W. Main Street Nice N' Easy to $4.09 at E. Main Street Stewart's shop.

In New York State, the average price has jumped from about $3.72 to $4 per gallon in the past month, according to the website.
