St. Lawrence County gained 100 non-farms in February from February 2016.
The Department of Labor says that’s a .3 percent gain, well behind the state average of 1.4 percent.
In February, there were 37,300 non-farm jobs in St. Lawrence County and 37,200 in February 2016.
To our east in Franklin County, the rate went up .6 percent from 18,100 in February 2016 to 18,200 last month.
To our west in Jefferson County, the rate went up 1 percent from 40,800 in February 2016 to 41,200 last month.
