St. Lawrence County gained 300 non-farm jobs in June compared to the same month last year, according to the Department of Labor.
DOL says there were 40,800 non-farm jobs last month and 40,500 in June 2015, a .7 percent change.
To our east in Franklin County, the number went up by 100, to 19,200 last month and 19,100 in June 2015, a .5 percent shift, DOL said.
Jefferson County to our west saw 400 more non-farm jobs over the same time frame, to 44,900 last month from 44,500 in June 2015, a .9 percent change, according to the DOL.
