St. Lawrence County Chamber's spring Home, Garden and Business Show Friday, Saturday in Cheel Arena in Potsdam

CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce will host its spring Home, Garden and Business Show, formerly known as The Really Big Show, Friday and Saturday, April 22 and 23 at Cheel Arena.

Over 1,000 people are expected to attend, event organizer Jo Ann Roberts said.

This event that kicks off the spring and summer season, showcasing area business offerings from landscaping to architects, heating and air conditioning.

The event features a variety of other businesses offering products and services, from healthcare to banking.

“This is a great event for new people in the community to get oriented to what is available, as well as allowing residents to meet and learn about local businesses’ said Chamber director Brooke Rouse.

To add variety and introduce more local businesses, there will also be several food, wine and craft vendors selling regional goods.

“People will be able to make their own garden stairs,” Roberts said. “You make your own design and it takes about 45 minutes to an hour for it to set.”

Hours on Friday April 22 are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturday April 23, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. General admission is $3.

There will be over 70 booths offering everything from wine, BBQ-related products, soaps, food and more. There will be radio stations live broadcasting from the event.

NBT is sponsoring a business-to-business reception prior to the show opening. There will be pastries and coffee for vendors, businesses and organizations that are participating.
