For the first time, a county business will be honored for customer service at the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce annual dinner in October.
Nominations are open until Tuesday, Sept. 30 for “a Chamber business that is known for consistently providing extraordinary service in their delivery of product and/or service to customers.”
Nominations are also being accepted until Sep. 30 for 2014 Business of the Year, honoring “a Chamber business that has contributed to the growth of St. Lawrence County’s economy and brings pride to the business community.”

Reservations for the chamber’s annual dinner are due Sept. 30 as well. Individuals or company tables may be reserved by calling the chamber at 386-4000 or emailing jroberts@stlawrencecountychamber.org .
The event, on Oct. 23 at the SUNY Potsdam Student Union Multi-Purpose Room on Barrington Drive, begins with cocktails at 6 p.m. and seated dinner at 7 p.m. The evening includes the presentation of the business awards and live and silent auctions.
