Sen. Ritchie endorsed by National Federation of Independent Business

State Senator Patty Ritchie has been endorsed by the state’s largest association of small business owners who singled her out for her efforts to jump start New York’s economy and get people back to work.

The New York chapter of the National Federation of Independent Business, which represents tens of thousands of small businesses across New York, announced its endorsement on Monday.

“I have been proud to support the hardworking small business men and women who make our economy work, and who are creating the jobs that will bring New York back,” said Senator Ritchie. “Together, we are turning New York around and building a brighter future, and I am grateful for their support as I seek a second term in the Senate.”

In her first two-year term, Senator Ritchie has built a strong record of fighting for jobs and a stronger economy. She supported two on-time budgets that cut taxes and spending, reined in runaway property taxes, and voted for economic development programs that are investing hundreds of millions of dollars in job creation in Central and Northern New York.

In addition to the NFIB endorsement, Senator Ritchie recently earned the top score on the Business Council of New York State’s pro-jobs legislative report card, and high marks from another job-advocacy group, Unshackle Upstate.
