MASSENA -- SeaComm Federal Credit Union has donated $7,500 in support of the MMH Medical Office Building.

The new 20,000 square foot medical office building will provide incoming and current physicians and hospital clinics with much-needed space.

The building is expected to open in the spring.

“We are extremely pleased to provide Massena Memorial Hospital with our financial support towards their Growing Care Campaign,” said SeaComm President and CEO Scott Wilson. “The hospital is a cornerstone of the greater Massena community and continues to meet the healthcare needs of our friends and neighbors, which is extremely important to us,” he said.

“This new medical office building is an important piece of providing quality healthcare to our patients,” MMH Foundation Executive Director Julia Rose said. “We now have room to accommodate more doctors including our surgical staff, Dr. Day and Dr. Mariano, as well as neurologist, Dr. Tang. In addition, we can provide much needed private practice space. It’s a winning combination for the community” she said.

The MMH Foundation is a separate, non-profit corporation whose sole purpose is to raise funding for Massena Memorial Hospital.
