MASSENA -- On Friday, April 27, Triple “A” Building Center, corner of Malby Ave. and Route 37, will kick off the 2012 building and remodeling season with their annual Home Show and Sale.

North Country builders and homeowners can stop by Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and visit with the more than 20 vendors who have signed up for the show.

Local celebrities will be on hand to entertain and promote the event. Sandy Cook will broadcast live for WMSA Radio, and Mel Busler from 7 News, known for his “Busler’s Beauties,” will be on hand for a “meet and greet.”

Food will be provided by the Massena Kiwanis Club. A hamburger or hot dog and a soda will cost $3.

Representing the latest in building and remodeling products will be brand names such as GP Siding, GE Caulk, Zar Products, National Nail, Andersen Windows & Doors, GP Gypsum, Silverline Windows, and Quikrete concrete products.

North Country Savings Bank will be giving away Norway Spruce seedling plugs to the first 100 customers who stop by their booth to inquire about financing or other banking needs. Customers can stop by the store for lunch and browse the booths, or stay and take in the many demonstrations and events throughout the day.

Raquette Valley Habitat for Humanity will be on hand to provide information about their organization and to solicit donations and volunteers. Triple “A” will hold a 50-50 raffle as a fundraiser to benefit the charity throughout the show.

Complete with valuable door prizes and drawings all day, the Home Show will feature door prizes and drawings all day with a $500 Gift Card to be drawn from guests’ entries. Door prizes will include $50 gift cards and other prizes donated by the participating vendors, such as a Larson storm door, a Wagner paint sprayer, a shower kit by Advanta Maxx, and a unique bathroom vanity and sink top.

Triple “A” is continuing their series of events intended to educate and inspire building professionals and homeowners. Aimed at the construction industry, they will showcase tool and product innovations to assist builders in their offerings, while at the same time educating homeowners on ways to improve the structure and enhance the beauty of their home.

All three Triple “A” Building Centers will hold a store-wide sale, which will run Friday through Sunday, featuring many of the products sponsored by the suppliers in attendance, including Best Look Paints. Each gallon of Best Look Interior Finishes will be on sale for the three days, and the second gallon will only cost $5.

“Our stores and our people are true North Country, and while continuing to add new products and services, we are able to provide things that are exclusive to our own region,” said owner and CEO Robert Ashley. “We understand and constantly monitor the needs of homeowners, contractors and businesses in St. Lawrence County. Our Home Show allows us to showcase more of what we have to offer.”
