OGDENSBURG – A psychiatrist has joined the medical staff at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center and will be serving both inpatient and outpatient care.
Dr. Dhruv Modi, a native of India, will provide care at the hospital’s inpatient Mental Health Center and outpatient Mental Health Clinic.
Dr. Modi attended medical school at the Smt. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad Gujarat, India. He recently completed his residency training at Louisiana State University School of Medicine, Shreveport, Louisiana. He is board eligible.
When asked what Dr. Modi hopes to bring to Claxton-Hepburn, he stated, “Being a psychiatrist is a life-long dream. The art of transforming a scared and anxious person into a calm, happy and relaxed individual is truly rewarding.”
Dr. Modi resides in Kemptville, Ont. with his family. Outside of work, Dr. Modi enjoys time spent with family, watching and playing cricket and soccer.
