Price Chopper is recalling 48-ounce Central Market Classics Chocolate Ice Cream with a UPC code of 41735 07233.
Golub Corporation, which operates Price Chopper stores in Massena, Canton, Ogdensburg, Gouverneur and Potsdam, says the product is being recalled due to possible strawberry cross-contamination.
There is no health risk to those not allergic to strawberry, the company said.
“Most of the customers who purchased these items have already been contacted,” the company said.
Customers with the affected product should return it to their local Price Chopper for a full refund.
