POTSDAM -- Main Street Chocolates celebrated its opening with a ribbon cutting Saturday.
Owner Jennifer Murphy said she is pleased with the community’s response to the Nov. 13 opening.
Main Street Chocolates will participate in the Holiday Shopping Weekend Dec. 7 with a 10 percent discount between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and a reading of "Twas the Night before Christmas" at 3 p.m.
The store will also offer a 10 percent discount to anyone who makes a purchase at another local business the same day and shows their receipt.
Main Street Chocolates is located at 4 Main St., which was formerly the location of The World Artisan.
The store offers a variety of hand dipped creations, fudge, and other treats.
They also carry some other “nostalgic” candies, gummies, etc.
