POTSDAM -- Chip, LuAnn and Rick Cross of the Potsdam IGA, 27 Elm St., will be honored with the Service Above Self Award at the Rotary Club of Potsdam’s 85th anniversary dinner on Wednesday, June 26, in the Cheel Campus Center at Clarkson University.
Amy Flack will be installed as 2013-2014 Potsdam Rotary president, while Maureen Farina will be honored as outgoing president.
The club will honor the IGA owners in recognition of their “outstanding contributions to the Potsdam community.
All Rotarians and past Rotarians, members of the community, and family, friends and colleagues of the honorees are invited to attend.
A social hour with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar gets underway at 5:30 p.m. Musical entertainment will be provided by Caramello. A buffet dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are available by advance purchase only for $35 per person. Checks can be made out to Potsdam Rotary and sent to Potsdam Rotary, PO Box 912, Potsdam, NY 13676. Reservations must be received by Friday, June 21. More info: Michael Griffin, 265-5584.
