POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Hospital Guild recently awarded $2,000 to three current Canton-Potsdam Hospital employees who are working to further their education.
Courtney Carista, a Unit Assistant in the Hospital’s Chemical Dependency Rehabilitation Unit, is working on her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management.
Karissa Castanier, a patient representative working in Dr. Kris VanWagner’s ophthalmology practice, is working toward being a certified coder.
Rheannon Harvey, a certified nurse aide on the hospital’s third floor medical-surgical unit, is studying to become a Registered Nurse.
The three recipients were selected by the Potsdam Hospital Guild's Continuing Education Awards/Scholarship Committee from among a number of employee applicants.
These awards bring the Potsdam Guild’s total contribution for 2014 to $53,000. For more information visit www.cphospital.org/community.
