Local H&R Block offices have found more St. Lawrence County $1,000 winners during the company’s “tax-time” promotion.
In addition to Tanya Brothers of Brasher Falls, whose win was announced recently, Stephen Hadfield of Gouverneur and Lisa Fuller of Potsdam have been presented checks for $1,000.
“We are super excited that some of our friends and neighbors have won,” local H&R Block offices owner Craig Lavigne said. “Presenting those checks was an absolute pleasure.”
Block is giving away 1,000 $1,000 prizes a day for over several weeks to people around the country chosen from among those who use their services for their tax returns.
In St. Lawrence County, they have offices in Ogdensburg, Massena, Gouverneur, Canton and Potsdam.
