POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce continues to seek the help of the community and its member businesses for nominations for its Business of Year award.
Each year the chamber presents the award to a Potsdam business that has made improvements that enhance the community such as increased volume of economic activity, increased employment levels in Potsdam, and excellent customer service.
“The chamber has reviewed all its award criteria recently,” said chamber Executive Director Marylee Ballou, “and we hope to see some great submissions again this year.”
Nominations will be accepted through April 11 at 4:30 pm. Nomination forms are available at the chamber office, 24 Market Street, or by request at potsdamchamber@slic.com.
In addition to the nomination form or a letter of nomination, the chamber would welcome letters of support, testimonials, press clippings, and other support materials with nominations.
Some past recipients of the award have included Potsdam Agway, Pinto-Mucenski-Watson, Northern Music, Potsdam IGA, Potsdam Taxi, Harris Medical, J E Sheehan Contracting, Ponderosa, Great Northern Printing, First Crush, Foxy Roxy’s, Save A Lot, and LTI Trucking/Body Shop.
