POTSDAM – The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce invites nominations for the annual Commitment to the Community Award.
The award honors the efforts of an individual or organization that enhances the quality of life in Potsdam. They provide services to fellow citizens, or improve the business environment in such a way that it has a positive overall effect on the community. Such efforts may be voluntary or professional. Any individual or organization that exemplifies any or all of these criteria is eligible.
Community members or organizations may be nominated by letter to the Potsdam Chamber.
The letter should include basic information about the nominee and the award criteria, and the contact information of the person making the nomination. The committee encourages and welcomes any additional letters of support, testimonials, press clippings, and other materials.
Nominations are due at the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce by Wednesday, Oct. 9. They can be dropped at the office at 24 Market St. between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, or faxed to 274-9222, or mailed to Potsdam Chamber of Commerce, 24 Market St. Potsdam NY 13676.
