POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Chamber is seeking nominations for its 2016 Business of the Year Award.
The award is presented to a Potsdam business that has excelled in one or more of the following areas; improvements that enhance the community, increases in the volume of economic activity, growth in employment levels in Potsdam, excellent customer service.
“Anyone can nominate a business,” said Executive Director Marylee Ballou, “A nomination form is available from the chamber or just send us a letter explaining how the business meets the award criteria. Those that nominate a business can also submit additional letters of support as well as support documents to strengthen the nomination.”
The chamber’s membership committee reviews all nominations and the chamber board approves a final award recipient.
The award is presented to the business at the chamber’s annual spring luncheon held the second week in May.
The deadline is 4:30 p.m. on April 12. Mail nominations to 24 Market St. Potsdam, NY 13676 or send to potsdam@slic.com.
