Proulx, owner Save-A-Lot; Ballou, Chamber Executive Director; and Crowell, Chamber Board President
POTSDAM -- Potsdam Save-A-Lot was named the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce’s Business of the Year at the chamber's annual Spring Luncheon at the Potsdam Town and Country Club today. Over 60 chamber members attended the event to honor local businesses.
Proulx was cited for the importance he places on giving back to the community that supports his business. “Potsdam has been the cornerstone of my company’s growth and for that I am grateful," said Proulx.
In addition to presenting the Business of the Year award, many milestones were also recognized. They included:
• 10 Years: North Country Neighbors
• 15 Years: Misty Meadows Bed and Breakfast and Today's Hair & Day Spa
• 25 Years: Adirondack Audiology, NBT Bank, and The Orchestra of Northern NY
• 35 Years: Gray & Gray CPA, Jreck Subs
• 40 Years: The Treadmill
• 50 Years: St. Lawrence Gas (Enbridge)
Awards were presented by David Crowell, Chamber Board President; and Marylee Ballou, Chamber Executive Director.
