POTSDAM -- Potsdam Chamber of Commerce is selling hockey tickets to the Jan. 11 Clarkson men’s game versus Merrimack.

The tickets are available at 24 Market St., Mon-Friday 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and will be available next door at Misty Hollow, 22 Market St., when the chamber office is closed.

Tickets are also available from any Potsdam Chamber Board member.

Tickets are $13 each and they accept cash or check payment.

“They make a great gift for the hockey fans in the family or for employee incentives/rewards,” prompted chamber director Marylee E. Ballou. “Those who have chamber tickets will have the added bonus of being entered to win Potsdam Gift Certificates which we will give away at the game.”

For the fourth year in a row, Blevins Motors is sponsoring the “Make the Shot” contest during the first intermission of the game. Three contestants will be randomly drawn from the tickets the chamber sold. The first of those three contestants to make their one shot, will win. “Over the past three years we had some close shots but no winner…perhaps this will be the year,” Ballou responded. “We thank Clarkson again for this fundraising opportunity. $10 from each ticket we sell, we keep and these funds help us with our annual events such as Summer Festival and Fright Night.”
