POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Central Board of Education approved the appointment of Melissa Marion and Deborah McGregor as secretaries at the school.
Marion's appointment was effective Nov. 28 and she will be paid $32,000 (pro-rated) of the 11-month salary scale.
McGregor will be paid a $33,474 salary (pro-rated) for a 12-month position.
Neither hire will be placed on a probationary period as these appointment are provisional and subject to Civil Service examination.
The motions were approved 7-0.
