POTSDAM — Potsdam-based video game developer Little Red Dog Games, Inc. just released Deep Sixed, a science fiction space-survival game for PC, Mac and Linux platforms.
The game is available on Steam for $12.99, and is retailing for a 25 percent discount for the first two weeks.
In Deep Sixed, players use strategy, ingenuity and duct tape to keep their spacecraft in one piece as they risk exploring a mysterious nebula protected by dangerous alien creatures.
Deep Sixed is the second title from Little Red Dog Games' founders Ryan and Krystal Hewer. Both are educators who develop games like Deep Sixed on a part-time basis.
Students studying Game Design and Development at SUNY Canton have been learning directly from Little Red Dog Games’ experiences bringing Deep Sixed to market.
