POTSDAM – The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce has begun planning for its 26th annual Halloween celebration, Fright Night, scheduled for Oct. 27.
The event draws children and their parents to downtown businesses, which sponsor special activities and entertainment, and offer specials.
The first block of Market Street will be closed to vehicle traffic for a few hours so businesses can host games and activities.
Businesses that wish to use street space for an activity are asked to contact the chamber about that.
And businesses are encouraged to advise the chamber of activities they are planning so it can be included in advertising. The office is at 24 Market St., email potsdam@slic.com.
