POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce festival is looking for participants for the Outer Market Mania & Touch-A-Truck exhibit which will be held at the Potsdam Summer Festival Friday July 10 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

“We need trucks,” said organizer Janice Adderley, “The Touch-A-Truck portion of the event allows kids to get up close to cool trucks, forklifts, police cars, fire trucks, pay loaders, etc. They love to sit behind the wheel, honk the horn and learn about safety and how the trucks work. Any cool vehicles will be welcome.”

Outer Market Mania is a fun filled event that is free for the children in the community. The event also will include entertainment by Cubby T. Clown & Co. and performances by Step It Out Dance Studio. A sponsorship by St. Lawrence Radiology funds the clown shows. New this year will be horse drawn wagon rides by HH Percherons. There will also be games and crafts provided by various businesses and organizations under a large tent.

There is no charge to set up your table or truck.

“We are looking for more trucks, games, crafts and entertainment. Any and all ideas are welcome!” Adderley stated.
