POTSDAM -- Over 85 Potsdam Chamber of Commerce members attended the 2013 annual luncheon held at the Potsdam Town & Country Club on Tuesday. LaValle Transportation, Body Shop Fitness & Salon received the 2013 Business of Year Award.

Randy and Penny LaValley accepted the award from MaryLee Ballou, chamber executive director.

Bonnie Boyd of Potsdam Animal Shelter; and Pam Yurgartis of Potsdam Holiday Fund, both expressed their gratitude to LaValley for his continued support of their organizations.

Twelve milestone anniversaries were also noted, including: Rotary Club of Potsdam, 85 years; NCC Systems, 40 years; North Country Public Radio, 45 years; CORC Thrift Store, 40 years; Plumley Real Estate, 60 yeasr; Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley, 30 years; Potsdam Food Co-op, 40 years; Willow Tree Florist and Landscaping, 20 years; Potsdam Insurance, 40 years; Potsdam Arby’s, 25 years, Foxy Roxy’s, 5 years; and Great Northern Printing, 30 years.
