POTSDAM – Optometrist Dr. Michael Sullivan is closing his Potsdam practice to concentrate on his practice in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Michael Sullivan returned to Potsdam two years ago on a part time basis after his father, Dr. James Sullivan, also an optometrist, died.
Michael Sullivan had been seeing patients at his father’s office at 59 Elm St.
In a note to patients, the younger Sullivan said, “I would like to extend my gratitude to the town and surrounding communities for the support of my practice and my mother’s optical business for the past two years.”
The statement went on, “I would also like to thank everyone for the tremendous support of my father, James B. Sullivan, OD, for the prior 35 years.”
