The Ogdensburg-based manufacturer is celebrating their 49th year in town and has matured from a small operation with a few employees, to an international leader in the manufacturing of test and measurement instruments.

This year, DeFelsko will be expanding into the adjacent property at 800 Proctor Ave. more than doubling their existing space. In the past few years, DeFelsko has expanded its product range and introduced successful new technologies that have increased their production requirements.

The innovative PosiTector series with industry-first complete probe interchangeability accepts ALL coating thickness (6000), environmental (DPM), surface profile (SPG/RTR), and ultrasonic wall thickness (UTG) probes. This innovation allows quick and easy conversion from a coating thickness gage to a surface profile gage, replica tape reader, dew point meter or ultrasonic wall thickness gage with a simple probe change.

Other successful products recently introduced include the self-aligning PosiTest Automatic Adhesion Tester, PosiTector 200 Ultrasonic Coating Thickness gage for wood and concrete, and the non-contact PosiTector PC Powder Checker.
