OSWEGATCHIE — An Ogdensburg woman was jailed Thursday charged with falsifying business records, felony, while employed at Perry’s Place, 7211 State Highway 68, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Melissa R. Gordon, 35, was charged after an investigation revealed that she falsified a receipt for bottle returns while working as an employee at Perry’s Place, deputies said.
A third party received a larger sum of money than what they were entitled to, officers said.
She was arraigned in Oswegatchie court and held without bail.
