OGDENSBURG -- Dallas Sutton, a native of Ogdensburg, has been promoted to vice president at NBT Bank Regional, according to regional president Daniel Burke.

In this position, Sutton is responsible for developing new business relationships and overseeing the bank’s nine branches in St. Lawrence, Essex, and Franklin counties.

“I congratulate Dallas on his promotion,” Burke said. “His experience and skills providing high-quality products and services to our customers is an asset to the bank and the communities we serve and make him an excellent resource for our customers.”

Sutton has been with NBT Bank since 2005. During this time he has held various positions in the bank’s retail and commercial divisions. Prior to joining the bank he was employed by Watertown-based Clancy-Mance Communications.

Sutton has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s degree in business administration from Clarkson University. He serves on the board of directors for the St. Lawrence County Workforce Investment Board, Ogdensburg Growth Fund Development Corp. and the St. Lawrence Health Alliance. He is also involved in a number of community focused activities throughout the North Country.
