OGDENSBURG – The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce added four local business representatives to its board of directors at a recent meeting.
New to the board are Debbie Barr of CHMC, Josh Amo of Seaway Valley Jumpers, Sean McNamara of North Country Now and Lee Jones of Jones Insurance Agency.
The new members will serve a three-year term beginning Dec. 4.
Members who were selected to serve second terms included Cathy Piche’ of NBT Bank, Ken Gardner of OVRS, Bill Hosmer of Hosmer’s Marina, Doug Johnson of SeaComm FCU, Dawn Merz of Q102, PAC 98.7 and YES FM, Judy Ryan of Fort laPresentation Association.
New Officers for the 2014 Board will be Michael Brashaw, President, Lisa Hirsch 1st VP, Dawn Merz 2nd VP, Judy Ryan, Secretary, Alex Augsbury, Treasurer, Bill Hosmer, Executive committee member, Steve Hawes Executive Committee member and Lori Smithers Executive committee member as Past President.
Kim Demers of Kimro’s Medicine Place, Michael Thayer of St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union, Derek Van House of Pinto-Mucenski-Hooper-VanHouse & Co., and Joseph Metz of Parkway Stores.
The Chamber board consists of 23 Directors one representative from the City of Ogdensburg and 1 representative from the Ogdensburg Bridge & Port Authority.
They meet the first and third Wednesday of each month at noon at the Visitor’s Center.
All members of the Chamber are urged to attend the board meetings.
