OGDESNBURG -- Ogdensburg International Airport is offering a two-for-one travel deal for the first 500 customers who buy two or more outbound tickets in the same transaction.
Anyone traveling to Fort Lauderdale or Orlando via Allegiant Air and Albany or Boston via Cape Air are eligible.
The Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority will reimburse one of two or more outbound tickets.
OBPA requires proof of transaction and travel documentation.
More information on the promotion is at http://www.ogsair.com/promotion.
North Country Public Radio reported earlier this week that OBPA is offering the deal to get 10,001 outbound passengers before the end of the year. If they manage that, the Federal Aviation Administration will give them $1 million for maintenance and equipment. If they don’t break the threshold, the grant shrinks to $150,000.
