OBPA announces appointment of new manager for Ogdensburg International Airport

 OGDENSBURG – The Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority has appointed Ronald L. Bogus as the new manager of the Ogdensburg International Airport.

Bogus has extensive airport operations experience in public and military service as airport operations officer at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and as an airfield manager for the United States Air Force.

Bogus earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from American Military University.

"It is a great honor and privilege to serve as the Airport Manager of Ogdensburg International Airport,” Bogus said of the appointment

“The vision of the Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority for continued airport growth is one that I am thrilled to be a part of. As I start my new position the goal is to ensure that OGS continues to provide air services that are rewarding and valued by our customers. I believe the recent expansion of Ogdensburg Airport’s airside, landside and terminal facilities will make my goal much easier to achieve as we add additional convenient and exciting travel destinations,” he said.

“Ron Bogus’ operations experience and expertise is invaluable as OGS continues to execute our growth strategy for the airport” said OBPA Executive Director Wade Davis. "I congratulate Ron on his appointment as Airport Manager and we look forward to the challenges ahead."

Bogus was selected after a nationwide search by ADK Executive Search Services.
