MASSENA -- The New York Power Authority (NYPA) trustees voted to hire Bernier, Carr & Associates of Watertown for $364,000 to do architecture, engineering and design for new facilities for upgrades at Robert Moses State Park in Massena.
The new facilities will replace temporary buildings for the state park police, administration and maintenance.
A fire destroyed the original park buildings, along with the Robert Moses State Park Nature Center, in 2010.
NYPA say they have been working with state agencies and local stakeholders to rebuild the facilities.
The design will be coordinated with plans for the new nature center, which is under construction.
