The number of non-farm jobs in St. Lawrence County rose .2 percent in May over the same month last year, the Department of Labor said.
They say there were 41,900 non-farm jobs last month and 41,800 in May 2015, according to the DOL.
To our east in Franklin County, the rate was flat. They had 19,000 non-farm jobs both last month and in May 2015, DOL said.
To our west in Jefferson County, the number rose 1.4 percent to 44,000 last month from 43,400 in May 2015, according to the DOL.
