NORWOOD -- The Norwood Village Green concert series received $1,000 from the Corning Incorporated Foundation toward the recently completed season, just in time to complete the programming for the 2014 season.
Programming has been selected and will include, for the first time, a three-day chamber music festival. Other highlights will include a bluegrass band, members of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, the All Star Big Band, and a Russian klezmer ensemble.
Nine local and regional artists are also scheduled to appear.
Following tradition, the series will kick off with the St. Lawrence County Music Educators Association Pop Choral/Stage Band Festival the Thursday after Memorial Day.
