North Country This Week is now selling a 2015 calendar featuring some of the best St. Lawrence County scenic and wildlife photos posted on NorthCountryNow.com.

The North Country 2015 Calendar is designed to be a great gift idea and features various shots of sunsets, wildlife and scenic areas from across St. Lawrence County.

The cover of the calendar is a unique shot of the silhouette of several cows on the Zufall farm in Lisbon. The photo was taken by David Zufall.

The calendar kicks off the New Year with a photo of the frozen St. Regis River in Brasher Falls by Sheila Daoust.

Morristown photographer Bruce Dana has several photographs featured in the calendar beginning with the February photo featuring three large oak trees in a snowy background near Hammond. Photos from Dana are also highlighted in April and June as part of collages. His photo in April is of a heron in Morristown.

Dana captured three wildlife photos that appear in the June section of the calendar. Animals pictured are two snowy owls and a red fox. A flock of turkeys near Pope Mills rounds out Dana’s contributions to the calendar. The photo of the turkeys is on the November page.

A pair of squirrels feasting at a bird feeding in Norfolk highlights the March page. The photo was taken by Jerry Murray.

The page for April features a collage of photos from around the county. Wildflower photos submitted by Natalie Aldrich will help welcome spring into the North Country. Aldrich also submitted a photo of a blue heron in Canton.

Other April photos include a dragonfly in Potsdam by Chris Chapin, an eagle in South Colton from Kathy Connelly, a goldfinch by Maya Atchan of Potsdam and an osprey in Massena by Andy Gardner of North Country This Week.

A close-up shot of a barred owl in Norwood will greet people when they flip to May. The photo was taken by Rick Morgan.

The June photo collage features sunsets in Massena taken by Doreen Tolman and at Barnhart Island Yacht Basin by Fred Jock. Melissa Brown of Edwards snapped a photo of a red fox and a lone snowy owl. A blue heron was photographed in Louisville by Brasher Falls resident Don Straight. Straight also took a picture of Canadian geese and goslings in Norfolk.

July’s photo was taken at the Maple City Trail in Ogdensburg where the Oswegatchie and St. Lawrence Rivers meet. The photo was taken by Gidget Kimble.

Dick Beaulieu submitted the photo for August which is of a sunset with stormy clouds in Lisbon.

Fall is acknowledged by a corn-cropping photo taken in Parishville by Lisa Hoover of North Country This Week.

Fall colors are well represented by a shot of leaves changing colors on the Grasse River in Canton by Natalie Aldrich.

Aldrich is also featured in December with her wintry photo of a juvenile bald eagle in South Colton.

A magenta sky in Louisville welcomes St. Lawrence County residents to January of 2016. The beautiful photo was submitted by Dan O’Keefe.

The calendar retails for $12.50 and can be purchased Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the North Country This Week office, located at 19 Depot St.
