OGDENSBURG -- The Price Chopper supermarket in Ogdensburg has opened a new full-service pharmacy.
The store’s pharmacy, at 2981 Ford S. extension, offers programs to help patients save on their medication, such as their Diabetes AdvantEdge Program that offers some free diabetes Type II medications and supplies as well as programs that include free antibiotics and free prenatal and children’s vitamins.
The Ogdensburg Price Chopper Pharmacy will be staffed by pharmacists Kaycee Cameron as pharmacy manager and Patrick Duprey as staff pharmacist.
Private patient counseling rooms are available for patients to meet with the pharmacist to answer health and medication related questions.
The pharmacy accepts most insurance plans. To transfer prescriptions, customers can bring their prescription bottles.
The pharmacy is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
