Dr. Wali earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

“As a physician, I want to promote health and the prevention of disease. Developing healthy habits as a child leads to success later in their lives,” Wali said.

Dr. Wali provides care to children from birth until they graduate from high school, or even a bit later. “The most fulfilling thing for me is seeing a child improving in any area, and to have them succeed. I encourage them to be healthy and happy.”

Wali said he chose to come to Canton-Potsdam Hospital because he shares the hospital’s goal of focusing on the community’s needs. He noted access to health care is a major issue, and CPH is providing top-notch, quality health care to those it serves.

Wali will manage the health of children, including physical, behavior, and mental health issues. He is trained to diagnose and treat childhood illnesses, from minor health problems to more complex diseases.
