POTSDAM -- Paul White, an obstetrician/gynecologist, has joined Canton-Potsdam Hospital and is currently seeing patients at The Women’s Room, 190 Outer Main St. in Potsdam.

White completed medical training at Tufts Medical School, Baystate Medical Center and University Autonoma de Guadalajara in 2000 with additional pre-internship training at New York Medical College. He completed his internship in family medicine at Southern Illinois University and an additional internship in obstetrics and gynecology at Brooklyn Hospital Center. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Medical School in 2007, serving as chief resident during his final year of residency.

He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

White has been in private practice in general obstetrics and gynecology in California since 2007. He is accomplished in the use of minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotically-assisted surgery techniques.

A published researcher, White has co-authored numerous papers and has offered oral presentations to his peers.

White’s practice will include general obstetrics and gynecology, and will also offer specialized techniques such as minimally invasive advanced laparoscopic techniques, pelvic floor reconstruction and stress incontinence.
