CANTON – After receiving 23 entries, Nature’s Storehouse, 21 Main St., chose a design by Janice Pease of Hopkinton as the winner in their T-shirt design contest.
After their first t-shirt was such a hit, Nature’s Storehouse decided to hold a contest for a new design.
Rainbow Crabtree, co-owner of natural foods and supplements store, said she was surprised and excited to receive as many entries as they got. She brought together a panel of eight judges that included local artists, high school students, and patrons and employees.
The t-shirt designs were judged “not only on artistic ability, but also on how well the design conveyed that feeling you get when you enter Nature’s Storehouse,” said the announcement of the contest winner.
Pease was awarded a free t-shirt and $100 gift card to Nature’s Storehouse. All 23 entries are on display at the store.
