OGDENSBURG – In July, the Ogdensburg United Helpers will welcome back Rebecca Reynolds as the new Campus Administrator, following the retirement of longtime administrator Robert E. Lesperance.

Reynolds, who lives in Morristown, served the United Helpers organization for 16 years beginning as RN/Staff Development Specialist. In 1996, she was promoted to Assistant Administrator of United Helpers Cedars Nursing Home and then promoted to Administrator in 1998. In 2005, Reynolds joined the United Helpers Management Company as Director of Quality Assurance and Corporate Compliance.

Most recently, Reynolds served as Director of Health and Clinical Services with the Cerebral Palsy Association of the North Country in Canton.

Lesperance was honored for his more than 28 years of service at a reception attended by United Helpers staff, residents, Society of the United Helpers, and other colleagues.

He joined United Helpers on Sept. 3, 1981 as the Assistant Director of Nursing at the United Helpers Nursing Home. He was later promoted to Director of Nursing and then to Assistant Administrator. In 1997 Lesperance was selected as the Administrator of the United Helpers Ogdensburg Campus, encompassing administration over the United Helpers Nursing Home and United Helpers Adult Residence.

In 2006, Lesperance assumed Administration of United Helpers Home Services in addition to his duties at the Ogdensburg Campus. He is also noted for his efforts with the coordination of the 2007-2009 construction and renovation of the Nursing Home and merger of the United Helpers Cedars Nursing Home.
